Media Forum

Since 2004, with funding from NED, Internews runs a daily updated Media Forum web site mediaforum.az that highlights socio-political and important media news events. By covering activities of international and local civil society and human rights organizations, the Media Forum site also educates journalists about NGO initiatives and, accordingly, helps to support the development of responsible journalism.

Global Internet Policy Initiative (GIPI)

Is a joint project of the Center for Democracy and Technology and Internews. Operating in nearly a 20 countries, GIPI serves as a resource to local stakeholders in the Internet policy development process

Ganja Independent Journalism Center

Ganja Independent Journalism Center (GIJC) was opened in July, 2001. The organization helps for the development of mass media in Ganja (the second biggest city of Azerbaijan Republic) and western regions.

Due Deligence

One of the main directions of Internews Azerbaijan is a legal support to Mass Media. Internews Azerbaijan has been running project called "Legal Audit" to expand, modernize and develop legal assistance since April of 2002.
