•C. "Modern society and Islam" Radio program
Islam and Modern Society radio format program will also continue to be produced under this project. This is not a repackaging of the television program but rather a separate production altogether with its own journalists, editorial team and production crew. This monthly radio magazine is produced by the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty office in Baku (RFE/RL), whose journalists report on the stories themselves, coordinate with IAPA reporters and utilize journalists working for partner television stations as well, who also record audio stories for this format. Each 30-minute program is produced, edited and broadcast by RFE/RL, who despite their licensing difficulties continue to have a strong pool of reporters in Azerbaijan and who continue to be leaders in the area of strong reporting on important social issues.
•D. Tri-media Trainings:
IAPA held trainings for journalists in the area of Islam and Democracy and on practical and technical reporting skills in the framework of the project, as well.
